How automount NTFS drives in Ubuntu

It's so easy. Just list your drives with:

fdisk -l

Make folder in media(ubuntu) or mnt(other distro):

mkdir /media/winxp

And add to /etc/fstab lines like this, just change drive id(sda1):

/dev/sda1 /media/winxp ntfs nls=utf8,umask=0222 0 0

reboot

in wicd is show wifi, choose encryption wpa1/2 a fill out key = password

How fix too big font in ubuntu login screen

I read many solutions, how fix too big font in ubuntu login screen on many forums. This one easy works for me:

1. Open System->Preferences->Appearance
2. Select the "Fonts" tab
3. Click the "Details" button (lower right)
4. Adjust the Resolution down to 96dpi
5. Make sure you have Subpixel (LCD) Smoothing enabled
6. Save the preferences

The change for X restart after Ctrl+Alt+BckSP was not successful, but real computer restart did it.
