My microSD card 3 in 1

In this time flash-type exchangeable memories we can find mostly in cameras, camcoders, cell phones, PDAs alebo like a USB memory stick. I decides to buy my microSD because I had no memory for my cell phone Nokia 6233 in a package. And this is no regular microSD but 3 in 1 card.

It seems my microSD is related with Nescafe a this card is entry product of foodstuffs company into hardware business :) But not really. The producer of my card is A-Data. I decided for 2GB version, by the way it was almost equal capacity as of my first hardisk of my first PC anno domini 1997 :) I would appreciate kind of universal solutions - to use all of the capacity as much as possible not only in cell phone.

microSD Card id ready to use like:

1. regular microSD
2. SD card
3. USB stickIn the first case is a use of my microSD card like a memory for my cell phone. 2GB are too much for this kind of device, and for nomral use is for me about 1/10 enough. I stored only 7 java games and a few pictures from camera when I forgot to take my compact camera.

Cell phone is my MP3 player as well. And like a mp3 memory is much more used. The half of capacity took mp3 songs :) Today I saved there 15 albums. This stuff are my current favorite songs which I now listen and enjoy.

The secord role like and regular SD card I don't use usuelly. I don't have camera with SD card slot, but Compact Flash, by the way A-Data as well. In the begining I tried this functionality on my previous mp3 player Sunsway, which has a SD card hole :)

The most frequest use of microSD is like classic USB stick. At work I switch card from cell phone to USB adapter, I start Winamp and play songs form card. And actually I save, move all kind of rest datas. Since I have this card I don't use my old 256MB flash stick SANDISK. But in inicial testing I found out copying to A-data card is not so quick like to SANDISK. In USB form I use this card in car audio system, which plays mp3 from usb accesories.

The advantage of this card is central archive if files, datas, multimedia files. All documents you are working in recent time, all music, all photos you have together on one place. And everything is easy to get by USB port, card reader or via bluetoth in cell phone. I resume I would notice:

DisAdvanatges:

• slower copying to card
• doesn't exist adapter to use card like xD card, Memory Stick etc.
• switching to / from adapters
• micro size - missed card is very hard to find
